A commitment to the education of young children
In Burkina Faso, poverty is extreme. Nearly all the population struggles to survive, and the literacy rate is very low. Starting in 2013, UMBRAGROUP chose to fund schooling for fifteen children. Providing these children with an education gives them better prospects and the chance to give their community a voice.
The project, which began in cooperation with La Gomena ONLUS, has been coordinated by the Valter Baldaccini Foundation since January of 2016.
