Flag Cerimony
On Tuesday, June 26th, a Flag Raising Ceremony was held at Thomson® Aerospace & Defense*, licensed brand of Linear Motion LLC.
All of the employees were invited to attend. VFW 1566, a local Veteran’s group, participated in the ceremony.
The US flag, together with the POW MIA flag, was raised by Ed Van Horn and Rick Gifford , the Italian flag was raised by Beatrice Baldaccini, and the UAW, (United Auto Workers) flag was raised by Ron Welsh and Randy Warren.
Once the flags were raised, the VFW veterans led a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and gave a 21-gun salute. At the conclusion of the ceremony, photos were taken of the employees in front of the building with the new UMBRAGROUP sign and the flags.
