Co.Me.Ar. is a highly specialized build to print company, focused on the production of complex, high-precision mechanical components, partnering with leading system builders and outfitters operating in the aerospace and industrial sectors.

Co.Me.Ar.'s layout consists of about 60 state-of-the-art CNC machines, most of which are 5-axis multitasking machining centers. Production relies on the availability of multi-pallet F.M.S. systems.

Thanks to the variety of machines available and the excellent application of the most advanced F.M.S. multi-task machining techniques, supported by CAD/CAM software, Co.Me.Ar. can ensure great flexibility and efficiency in the production of high-precision components on any batch, even of a few units, which is characteristic in the aerospace and prototyping sector.

In addition, Co.Me.Ar. has four metrology rooms for the dimensional control of its products. These rooms are equipped with more than 12 CMMs, profilometers, roughness gauges and other inspection instruments and a cutting area. There is also a department for manual precision adjustment and deburring (ultrasonic washing, binocular and endoscopic inspections), as well as an area dedicated to the implementation of the equipment (designed by its engineering department) necessary to support and facilitate production.

In the Aerospace field, Co.Me.Ar. supplies its Partners with complex and high-precision mechanical components, specifically vital parts, and Flight Safety such as:

• Manifolds and hydraulic bodies.
• Hydraulic components such as cylinders, pistons, etc.
• Bearing rings for turbines and gearboxes.
• Mechanical parts for brake systems and landing gear.
• Nuts for ball screws and other components for actuators such as flaps, slats, spoilers, rudders, stabilizers, thrust reversers.

In the Industrial sector, the products supplied can be traced to the following families:

• Precision components for machine tools and electro spindles.
• Mechanical parts for CNC waterjet, laser cutting machines.
• Mechanical systems for electromechanical actuators of presses and punching machines.

On October 04, 2023, UMBRAGROUP took over 51% of Co.Me.Ar.'s shares, with the other 49% remaining with CEO Claudio Becchetti

The new corporate structure between Co.Me.Ar. and UMBRAGROUP enhances the Group's forward trajectory not only through the business relationship but also by increasing its strategic value through the integration of the respective technological competences and commercial synergies on the portfolio of existing customers and on the collaborations in new potential markets.
